Trump Blames Bidens Immigration Policies for Colorado Protester Attack

President Donald Trump has attributed the recent fiery attack on Colorado protesters to former President Joe Biden’s immigration policies. The suspect, 45-year-old Mohamed Sabry Soliman, is accused of using a makeshift flamethrower against a group supporting Gaza Strip hostages. Soliman, reportedly an Egyptian national who overstayed his visa, was granted a work permit under the Biden administration, according to Trump’s national security adviser, Stephen Miller.

Trump condemned the attack on Truth Social, blaming Biden’s “Open Border Policy” and calling for stricter border security and deportation of illegal immigrants. Soliman allegedly shouted “Free Palestine” during the attack, resulting in eight hospitalizations. He has been charged with a federal hate crime.

Political reactions have been swift, with GOP leaders demanding stricter immigration controls. House Speaker Mike Johnson and Sen. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) criticized Biden’s immigration policies, with Banks supporting Trump’s proposed mass deportation efforts and border wall funding. Miller echoed calls for reversing “suicidal migration,” referencing past controversial statements about immigration.
